U15 Girls Soccer

Our U15's Girls Soccer team played in the regional soccer final on March 22nd 2023. The game didn't go our way, unfortunately, but we are so proud of each and every one of them for this fantastic achievement. This is our team's second year and we are delighted to have made history with our first ever soccer final, with this fantastic group of girls. All of the girls displayed great respect, teamwork and determination on the field today. Once again, they have put our school's name on the map for girls soccer. We look forward with great excitement and enthusiasm to our matches next year.

Boys Soccer

U17 Boys Soccer: Having suffered a tough loss in the cup, the U17s Dunamase Boys Soccer team bounced back to secure a well earned 4-4 draw in a thriller of a league match against Gaelcholsiste Cil Dara, Naas. Goals came from Kienan Brown, Logan Cullen, captain Eoin Duffin (who cleverly tricked the keeper with a brilliantly placed free-kick) and 2nd Year Adam Murphy, who held his nerve to score a last second penalty kick for the equaliser. Their next league game will be played in January.

U15 Boys Soccer: The U15s have a perfect league record after two games, 6-0 and 2-0 victories coming against Curragh P.P. and St. Kevin’s C.C. Dunlavin, respectively. Led by captain Adam Murphy, players such as Cormac Harney, Finn Dawson, Ben Peacham, Jayden Ume and Matthew Cunningham have exemplified the hard work and skill shown by all squad members across the board. They finished first in their group and await the name of their opponent for a regional quarter-final scheduled for late January.

First Year Soccer: Our first year soccer team won the 1st Year Midlands Regional League, Div. 2 final. They played against Ardscoil na Trionóide, Athy and finished with a final score 2-0. Captain on the day was Harry O Neill and Ben Malone secured Man of the Match. Coach/Manager: Múinteoir Jake.

Both the U17 and U15 teams are coached by teachers Jake Comerford and Brian Flynn.

Girls Soccer

The Minor Girls soccer team is a team to watch in for the future. They recently represented the school in the Minor B Quarter Final. Unfortunately after a last minute goal, it ended 2-1. They are a hard working determined team who show great promise for future competitions. They certainly have put the schools name on the map this year.

They are coached by teachers Chloe Ní Ghealbhain and Aoife Wosser.
